    Owner and history

    The vines at Château Branaire-Ducru are on average 35 years old and cover an area of 59 hectares. The château's vineyard benefits from ideal conditions for producing exceptional wine. Indeed, the vines are planted in gravelly soil over a clay subsoil and are located near the Gironde estuary.

    Vinification and aging

    The harvest at Château Branaire Ducru began on September 14th and ended on the 30th. The grapes reached excellent ripeness and were in perfect condition. Yields for the 2020 vintage amounted to 40 hl/ha, making it an average harvest.
