    Owner and history

Established since the 13th century on a beautiful gravelly ridge, the Château Carbonnieux vineyard benefits from natural drainage. Spanning 50 hectares, its terroir comprises soils of rare and sought-after diversity.

    Vinification and aging

After hand-harvesting, the grapes are sorted on sorting tables. Cold maceration takes place for five days in temperature-controlled wooden vats. Malolactic fermentation occurs in new oak barrels. The wine is aged for 18 months, 35% of which is in new oak.
