    Owner and history

    The Cos vineyard now covers 91 hectares. On the lean gravelly soils of the hilltops and on the southern slopes, Cabernet Sauvignon (60% of the vineyard) thrives. On the eastern slopes and on the hillsides where the limestone bedrock of Saint-Estèphe is exposed, Merlot (40% of the vineyard) excels.

    Vinification and aging

    Highly selective sorting at harvest time, gravity-fed pump-overs, and precise temperature control during fermentation. Aged for 18 months in new oak barrels.
