The Château Fleur Cardinale vineyard covers 25 hectares, benefiting from exceptional terroir. The clay-limestone soils, typical of Saint-Émilion, offer optimal drainage and promote harmonious ripening of the grapes. The climate, influenced by the Atlantic, allows for a perfect balance between freshness and concentration. The vines, averaging 25 years old, are cultivated using sustainable methods that respect the environment and promote biodiversity. This approach ensures high-quality grapes, guaranteeing successful winemaking.

    Owner and history

Château Fleur Cardinale is managed by the owners, Dominique and Patrick Maroteaux, who have instilled their passion and vision into the estate. Their commitment to quality and innovation has allowed the Château to establish itself on the wine scene. With an approach centered on respect for the environment and sustainable practices, they are dedicated to producing wines that faithfully reflect their terroir. Their family values and love for winemaking are evident in every bottle, making each vintage a true work of art.

    Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Château Fleur Cardinale is a meticulous art, blending tradition and innovation. The harvest is done by hand, guaranteeing rigorous selection of the grapes. After careful destemming, the grapes are fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, allowing for precise temperature management. Aging takes place in oak barrels, 30% of which are new, for 12 months. This process gives the wine its aromatic complexity and roundness on the palate, while preserving the authentic expression of the terroir.
