    Owner and history

Located on the Marbuzet plateau, between Château Cos d'Estournel and Château Montrose, the terroir is characterized by a Günzian gravel ridge with a clay-limestone subsoil. The vineyard is composed of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, and 10% Cabernet Franc, and planted at a high density of 9,000 vines per hectare.

    Vinification and aging

The harvest, carried out in conditions sometimes close to over-ripeness, fermentations at high temperature and aging in new oak barrels, contribute to making Haut-Marbuzet a powerful and spicy wine, with a flamboyant style and characteristic exotic aromas.
