    THE château Rauzan-Ségla is within the fold of the Wertheimer family, owners of the Chanel haute couture house and of château Canon in Saint-Émilion, since 1994. Massive investments have been made: restructuring of the vineyard, modernization of the winery. This has allowed this first-rate wine to consolidate its rightful second-tier status. cru classé of Margaux.

    Vinification and aging

    Winemaking at Château Rauzan-Ségla The wine is made with meticulous care. The grapes are harvested by hand and rigorously sorted. After careful destemming, they ferment in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, allowing for perfect temperature regulation. Aging takes place in oak barrels, some of which are new, for approximately 18 months. This crucial stage allows the tannins to soften and the oak aromas to integrate, while respecting the wine's unique character. Each vintage is the result of a constant pursuit of balance and complexity.
