The Château Siran vineyard stretches across Garonne gravel, typical of the Margaux appellation. The well-drained soil encourages deep root growth, allowing for optimal expression of the grape varieties. The oceanic climate, with its hot summers and mild winters, contributes to the slow and balanced ripening of the grapes, resulting in wines of great finesse. The sustainable farming practices employed here respect the environment while ensuring controlled yields.

    Owner and history

Currently managed by the Miailhe family, Château Siran has successfully navigated the changing times while preserving its identity. The owners, passionate about their terroir, are committed to blending innovation and tradition. Their dedication to sustainable viticulture is reflected in every bottle, demonstrating a deep respect for nature and a desire to pass on this heritage to future generations.

    Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Château Siran is carried out with meticulous care to preserve the quality of the grapes. After a manual harvest, the bunches are carefully sorted before being destemmed. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, allowing for optimal temperature regulation. Aging occurs in oak barrels, some of which are new, to impart complexity and roundness to the wine. This painstaking process gives Château Siran 2019 its aromatic richness and elegant structure.
