The vineyard of Château Trotte Vieille grows on clay-limestone terraces, promoting optimal drainage and good root aeration. Owner and history

Currently, the Château Trotte Vieille is run by the de Boüard de Laforest family, known for their commitment to winemaking excellence. Under their direction, the domaine has managed to modernize while respecting its heritage. Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Château Trotte Vieille is a meticulous process, blending tradition and innovation. The grapes are harvested by hand to select only the finest, followed by fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged in oak barrels, some of which are new, to impart complexity and nuance.
