The vineyard of Château Tertre Roteboeuf The vineyards are planted on clay-limestone soils, which promote the ripening of the grapes. The vines, averaging 30 years old, are cultivated with care, allowing for an authentic expression of the terroir. climat The temperate oceanic climate of the Bordeaux region also contributes to the quality of the grapes, providing ideal conditions for their ripening. Sustainable viticultural practices help preserve biodiversity and ensure the health of the vines, while respecting the natural balance of the ecosystem.

Owner and history

With a handcrafted approach, he strives to preserve the unique identity of Tertre Roteboeuf while innovating to adapt to market changes. The Grégoire family is deeply attached to its terroir and is committed to producing wines that tell a story, that of a place, a know-how and a shared passion for wine.

Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Château Tertre Roteboeuf The wine is made with meticulous care, blending tradition and innovation. The grapes are harvested by hand and then rigorously sorted to retain only the finest. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled vats, allowing for precise temperature control and the extraction of delicate aromas. The wine is aged in oak barrels, some of which are new, for approximately 18 months. This approach imparts structure and complexity to the wine while preserving the pure expression of the terroir.
