Châteauneuf-du-Pape

The Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation encompasses 3,200 hectares of vineyards in the Southern Rhône Valley , between Orange and Avignon. This AOC is distinguished by the large number of grape varieties used (13!), and a homogeneous subsoil of rolled pebbles on a limestone base. Just over 3,100 hectares of vines are used to produce one of France's most famous wines .
The appellation is primarily renowned for its powerful and complex red wines . White wines are also produced there, in smaller quantities but remarkably fresh and aromatic.

Old Telegraph Estate

Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe has been the Brunier family's home since 1891. The majority of the vineyards are located in Châteauneuf-du-Pape , on the Crau plateau. This allows for the production of highly mineral red and white wines . In 1821, one of the first relay stations of the optical telegraph was installed on this same plateau: this is where the estate takes its name!

In the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation , Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe produces “Vieux Télégraphe” in red and white, and another red wine called “Télégramme”. The estate also produces Vieux Marc de Châteauneuf-du-Pape .

Domaine La Roquète

The La Roquète estate , together with the Vieux Télégraphe estate, the Les Pallières estate and the Massaya estate in Lebanon, makes up the Brunier vineyard. It was bought by this family in 1986 and consists of 41 hectares of vines , including 29 in Châteauneuf-du-Pape .

The La Roquète estate produces a red and a white wine , “Clos La Roquète”. In 2011, the “Piedlong” cuvée was created, from the lieu-dit of the same name.

Beaucastel Castle

Since the beginning of the 20th century, Château de Beaucastel has been run by the Perrin family. The vineyard benefits from very favorable conditions: low rainfall and abundant sunshine combine with the rounded pebbles to provide the vines with maximum warmth. This estate cultivates 100 hectares of vines biodynamically , 75 of which are in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape AOC .

This appellation includes a red wine and a white wine bearing the name of the estate, as well as a 100% Roussanne “Vieilles Vignes” cuvée produced in very small quantities.
