    Owner and history

    One of the largest in the Saint-Émillon appellation, the vineyard covers 56.6 hectares. Its clay-limestone soil lies over a limestone subsoil containing asterias fossils. The grape varieties planted are Merlot (77%), Cabernet Franc (17%), and Cabernet Sauvignon (9%). The vineyard is located in the communes of Saint-Christophe-des-Bardes, Saint-Étienne-de-Lisse, and Saint-Hippolyte.

    Vinification and aging

    After plot-by-plot management, the grapes are harvested by hand and then sorted to select the very best from each plot. The wine is aged for 6 months in barrels (40% new).
