The vineyard of Château Malartic Lagravière covers 50 hectares, spread across soils composed of gravel, clay, and limestone. Owner and history

Currently run by the Bonnie Family, the Château Malartic Lagravière has experienced a renaissance since its acquisition in 1997. Passionate about wine and the terroir, they have successfully combined tradition and innovation to make this domaine a key player in the Pessac-Léognan appellation. Their commitment to the environment and wine quality is reflected in sustainable viticultural practices and a deep respect for nature. Each member of the family contributes to the evolution of the domaine, highlighting their love of wine and their desire to share exceptional moments with enthusiasts from around the world.

Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Château Malartic Lagravière is the result of time-honored expertise and a modern approach. The grapes are harvested by hand and then carefully sorted to retain only the very best. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled vats, allowing for precise temperature management and optimal extraction of aromas. The wine is aged in oak barrels, a percentage of which are new, for 12 to 16 months. This process imparts a beautiful aromatic complexity to the wine, while preserving the freshness and elegance that characterize great Bordeaux wines.
