    Vinification and aging

    Winemaking at Château Montrose It is a meticulous process. The grapes, harvested by hand, are carefully sorted before being destemmed. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, allowing for precise temperature management. Aging occurs in oak barrels, a percentage of which are new, for a period of 16 to 18 months. This aging process imparts complexity and elegance to the wine, while perfectly integrating the oak notes with the fruity aromas.
