This 2016 Saint-Estèphe pairs perfectly with roast racks of lamb, duck breast, or mature cheeses such as Comté or truffled Brie. It is recommended to serve it at an ideal temperature of 16-18°C after decanting for 1 to 2 hours.

Owner and history

Covering an area of ​​90 hectares, the soil is composed of clayey gravel over a limestone subsoil. The average age of the vines is 35 years.

Vinification and aging

Hand-harvested with successive sorting. Vinification in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Fermentation temperature of 25 to 30°C. Aged in oak barrels, 50% to 60% of which are new, for 14 to 18 months.
