    Tasting notes

    Pork tenderloin with chestnuts, turkey with morels, or beef tartare will perfectly complement this lovely vintage. Serve at around 16°C after at least an hour of decanting!

    Owner and history

    Franc de Pied comes from a sandy plot that gives the Cabernet Franc its distinctive character. The vines are cultivated biodynamically and with horses. The vines have not been grafted and are therefore "ungrafted".

    Vinification and aging

    The grapes are harvested by hand and placed in crates to preserve the whole fruit. They are then sorted and fermented as whole bunches in an oval vat.
