The Domaine Faiveley vineyard stretches across clay-limestone soils, ideal for vine cultivation. Les Latricières-Chambertin, one of the Grands Crus of the Côte de Nuits, is characterized by gentle slopes and optimal sun exposure. The region's continental climate, with its cold winters and hot summers, promotes slow and even ripening of the grapes, allowing the full aromatic potential of the varietals to be expressed. The biodiversity present in the vineyards also contributes to the health of the soils and the richness of the wines.

    Owner and history

Today, Domaine Faiveley is run by the seventh generation of the family, represented by Erwan Faiveley. Passionate and dedicated, Erwan is committed to preserving the family legacy while incorporating modern practices. Under his leadership, the estate continues to distinguish itself through the quality of its wines, while respecting the environment and Burgundian winemaking traditions.

    Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Domaine Faiveley is a meticulous art. The grapes are carefully hand-selected and destemmed before being placed in vats. Fermentation proceeds slowly, allowing for the gentle extraction of aromas and color. Aging in oak barrels, some of which are new, continues for several months, adding complexity and roundness to the wine. Each step is carried out with particular attention, guaranteeing the authentic expression of the terroir. The wines are then bottled unfiltered, preserving their integrity.
