The Domaine Faiveley vineyard, situated on the sunny slopes of the Côte d'Or, benefits from a temperate climate, ideal for cultivating noble grape varieties. The soil, composed of marl and limestone, imparts a characteristic minerality to the wines. The vines, some several decades old, are cultivated with care, each plot treated according to its specific needs. This attention to the terroir results in grapes of exceptional quality, essential for the production of grand cru wines.

    Owner and history

Today, Domaine Faiveley is run by the Faiveley family, whose passion for winemaking has been passed down through generations. The current owners, Erwan and his father, François Faiveley, have successfully combined respect for tradition with a modern vision. They continue the work of their ancestors, emphasizing the importance of biodiversity and sustainability. Their commitment to excellence is reflected in every bottle, making the estate a must-visit in Burgundy.

    Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Domaine Faiveley is a meticulous process where tradition and innovation meet. The hand-harvested grapes are destemmed before being fermented in wooden vats. The long, gentle maceration allows for the extraction of color and aromas. Aging in oak barrels, some of which are new, lasts between 12 and 16 months, resulting in remarkable complexity and structure. Each step is carried out with artisanal precision, guaranteeing the authentic expression of the terroir.
