    This plot in Marsannay lies on soils predominantly composed of clay and limestone, characteristic of Burgundy's finest terroirs. The vines benefit from excellent sun exposure, promoting optimal grape ripening. The Vaudenelles terroir typically produces fruity wines with remarkable depth and a distinctive freshness.

    Vinification and aging

    The 2015 Marsannay "Les Vaudenelles" is made using between 10 and 20% whole clusters, with maceration in wooden vats for 10 to 15 days to extract finesse and depth. The wine is then aged for 18 to 20 months in oak barrels, approximately 25% of which are new, adding subtle oak notes while preserving the freshness of the fruit.
